Selena Gomez Hits the Beach for Ashley's Tisdale's Birthday Bash

Out celebrating gal pal Ashley Tisdale's27th birthday, Selena Gomez imbibed in a little fun in the sun on the beach in Malibu, California on Monday afternoon (July 2).

The "Monte Carlo" cutie looked to be having a marvelous time as she splashed about in the Pacific Ocean waters and romped along the sandy shoreline with a few of boyfriend Justin Bieber's buddies.

The summertime beach bash comes shortly after Miss Gomez revealed to MTV News that she's ready to get back to music-making after a six month hiatus.

Of her plans, the soon-to-be 20-year-old dished, "I have a thousand ideas. This album is going to be the first one that I'm actually going to spend as long as I want — it can be two months, it could be a whole year before this album comes out — so I'm going to have my freedom with it. It'll be, like, my tell-all, in a way."

Telling that her songs will be about her life experiences, Gomez added, "I'm going to be able to talk about things that I've never really talked about before, just because the last records have been really rushed, so I'm just excited to be able to take my time with it."
