Chief among them is his insistence that he was having a late-night massage in his hotel room at the time of the alleged incident.
The former England football captain has submitted a five-page court statement dismissing claims by 26-year-old Bosnia-born Irma Nici that he paid her and a friend in cash for sex.
In the signed document, sent to a Californian court this weekend, the 35-year-old rubbished the allegations, saying he never carried around large sums of money.
In an article published by U.S. magazine In Touch, Nici claimed she met Beckham at New York’s Le Parker Meridien Hotel at 10pm on August 16, 2007.
