Amy Winehouse played the glamorous VIP-only End of Summer Ball in London's Berkeley Square last night, and frightened attendees with her ultra-disheveled appearance. I know Amy always looks disheveled lately, but she really hit a new low for this gig.
The singer's hair hung in a sad mess, and she had smudged makeup and white residue on her face. Amy's spindly legs were covered in scratches, and she didn't bother to dress for the event.
By the time she had performed in front of the host of VIP guests, Amy had lost one of her shoes and was holding onto her trademark beehive for dear life.
Among the 850 guests at the glittering event were Kate Middleton's younger sister Pippa, Sugababe Heidi Range, model Emma Noble and former Atomic Kitten Liz McLarnon.
Party-goers paid £750 for tickets which included a meal by by celebrity chef Marco Pierre White and cocktails prepared by exclusive restaurant Nobu.
I'm a huge Amy Winehouse fan, but at this point, I don't think I would want to see her live in concert. It would just be too depressing. I have no clue why she's still being booked for gigs.
